The staff were 5 star all the way. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly and courteous. Reception was welcoming and always available for information and extras.
The breakfast was very nice with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage along with cereal and continental style offerings (panna cotta was very nice) and lots of very nice coffee.
For our room (upstairs in the no lift section) they took our luggage up to our room for us.
ALSO no steps to get from the railway station to the hotel! Definitely will stay there again if we get back to Venice.

Fantastic design luxury hotel, the modern twist in an old beautiful building is stunning. We had the junior suite looking over the canal and the fresco on the ceiling did make the difference. Great breakfast and very helpful staff, we enjoyed the sauna too

I got a free room upgrade and a great bonus to stay on. The staff went beyond themselves to help even with navigating Venice, places to see, how to find directions... Name it! The hotel has an interesting historic background and retains the feel of a palace. Quiet, beautiful, calming.
Breakfast was simple but tasty and satisfying with all essentials. They fulfilled my request for very early breakfast, which was amazing and on time.
