The hotel is in a very calm, silent spot in the city. The vaporetto was in a close walking distance. The design of the room was very good, elegant. It was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to check out before breakfast time but the lady packed us food and orange juice. The whole experience in the hotel was pleasant. The espresso was very good right from a high-pressure machine.

Very well positioned in Venice, stylish and very comfortable and in a quieter quarter. The owner is knowledgable passionate about her city and very very helpful in steering us to the right places at the right time to miss the crowds. Catarina was one of the main reasons we absolutely enjoyed Venice and want to come back. If you are a Breakfast person it is varied with good fruit which you order the day before.

Fantastic location, right across the bus and train station, 150m from our parking lot, but still you had a view of the canal, gondolas and a glimpse of the perfection Venice is. Lovely cheap restaurants, a very cheap and lovely ice cream joint and a fantastic bakery very close to the hotel (Santa Croce, Venice). Anywhere closer to San Marco, the prices are simply ridiculously high, but here it was better (it's still Venice and still overpriced, of course).
