breakfast is absolutely fantastic. not just the food (and the excellent coffee served to the table), but the room as well. I sat on the "balcony" overlooking the canal with a perfect cappuccino and brioche. heaven. the room was also wonderful, as well as the good location.

Location is superb, Saint Mark square is 2 mins walk away, literally just around the block. The staff is nice. The room was amazing. High quality interior design, comfortable bed, clean and well equiped bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, would totally choose for longer period as well. Wi-Fi is also strong. Totally recommended!

I looked at almost every hotel in Venice in their price range and this one, so close to San Marco Square (3min walk) is by far the best you can get at this moment. The classical Italian style of Casa Verardo is awesome! Hotel rooms look beautiful and are clean, same goes for the bathroom. The staff was very polite and helped us with everything. We arrived way too early for check-in to ask if we could store our luggage, the staff went out of their way to check if our appointed room was cleaned and ready, lucky for us this was the case and we got the key right away and they escorted us to our room. Breakfast was very good as well with much variety and delicious things to eat, Here the staff was very nice as well serving coffee to your table and having a lovely chat. After check out we were allowed to store our luggage, bags got labeled and stored. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it's well worth the money.
