Situated very close and directly connected to Kyoto Station via a covered walkaway, the hotel ensures unbeatable convenience for exploring Kyoto and nearest cities- Shinkansen, subway, busses, the station complex with shops, restaurants, diners, are just a step away. However, regardless of this location, the rooms are extremely quiet and very comfortable, very clean and spacious. There is a small Zen garden in the terrace, which was a lovely detail to add in to the comfort of the room. The staff is very polite and helpful and we had seamless check-in and check-out. The breakfast is buffet and it is worth paying for-very diverse, providing both Japanese delicacies and top-tier Western options. The hotel is a combination of luxury and very convenient urban location.

Very nice hotel with nice common spaces like drink room (drinks for free), play room, library, room for vinyls …
Good breakfast and big room. It’s good for families with kids. Nearby there is aquarium and trains museum.
It’s little bit on a side so it’s quite but close to JR station.
View from common terrace is nice and if You take room with park view it will be even better ;)

The location is very good for families. Just 1 station from Kyoto Station and the hotel has Kyoto Aquarium, a park and a Railway Museum 5 minutes by walk. We didn't use it, but It has a japanese traditional bath on the top floor. Everything was clean, whe view from our room was great. Nothing to say, this was a great deal.
The hotel also has a convenience store right outside and a Starbucks.
