A great youth hostel, quiet and comfortable + a 5-min walk from the train station!
We had a four-bed dorm: the room was spacious and the 4 beds comfortable and well separated.
Everything was very clean and there is English-speaking staff. I would definitely come back!

Everything was awesome.
Clean and spacious room.
Just 5 minutes from the central railway station and 10 minutes walk to local cultural site To-Ji.
The hotel is surrounded by nice places to have a meal.
An awesome breakfast.

The hotel offers very comfortables rooms and an optimal quality-price ratio. What I liked the most is that we had the comfort of a normal room mixed with a traditional tatami and Japanese table. The receptionist was lovely and kind, with a high attention to details. E.g. he ordered for us a hairdryer diffuser accessory to use during our stay in the hotel.
The area is very close to Kyoto station and well connected. There are also many mini markets and a huge malls nearby.
Completely recommended, we will be back in our next trip to Kyoto!

It was actually rather larger for what we have been used to in Japan. The fact there is everything you need, the washing machine a huge plus in summer and close to the stations. Honestly, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also super quiet and felt extremely safe.

The kitchen was a wonderful thing we didn't think we would love as much as we did, same goes for the in room washer dryer!
The bathroom was wonderful and really nice to soak in a deep bath after walking all day!
Beds were comfortable and large.
Being a 5 minute walk to the biggest train station in Kyoto is a major boon made a lot of travel easier.
Staff were friendly but we didn't need any additional help so experience might differ.

Exceptionally helpful staff and owner. We expected a delivery of Sony notebook to the hotel and where not sure that the transport company would make it by the time we had to leave to the airport. The owner made an impossible - he called the delivery company and rearramged the route and the delivery arrived before 11:00 just when we planned to leave for railway station. It was a real magic. If not for his efforts we would have to reschedule the whole flight back home or arrrange another trip to Japan to pick our parcel.
