Our stay at Raicho was just fantastic, thanks to the super friendly and professional staff members and the increadible cozy guest house (the fire place was just soo relaxing). The staff was highly attentive and booked dinner reservations, shuttled us to the dinner places or also bus stops and was always on top of what we were planning to do (e.g. when we planned to rent out mountain bikes, the staff already had prepared everything in the morning on the day we went for the ride). Many thanks to the whole Raicho team making our 3 night stay a highlight of our Japan trip!

Poetical was an absolute delight to visit.
The staff are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. They had no issue with adjusting my dinner to suit my dietary requirements and it was delicious!
The hot spring in the lodge was incredible, very atmospheric and relaxing. I found generally, Poetical lodge to be relaxing and comfortable.

The location is fantastic—beautiful and surrounded by nature. The facilities are excellent, and everything is spotlessly clean. Both breakfast and dinner are outstanding; the food is absolutely incredible! The hotel owner is very friendly and always ready to help, even suggesting activities for us to do the next day.
There’s also easy access to many hikes, with a convenient bus that takes you right to the start of the mountain trails. After some good hike it is always great to bath in the onsen provided by the hotel!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect and I can't think of one thing that we would have changed. The service from the staff was definitely the highlight, but the food, the room and the onsen were outstanding.
It's a short busride to Kamikochi bridge where the hiking is beautiful.
