The Hotel is spectacular the decor is a little dated but that is part of the opulent charm. The shuttle bus from Okayama station was a welcomed relief as the hotel is set upon a hill but is fine without luggage in tow. As we arrived a pianist playing wonderful relaxing renditions of well known songs was in the reception (perfect after an early start and a pre check in arrival but not sure how often he plays there). The service at the hotel was faultless everyone we encountered gave us a luxurious experience. English isn't widely spoken but with the aid of a translation app everything was dealt with professionally and smoothly. THAT VIEW!!! When we got to our room we were blown away by the beautiful view of Okayama which only got better as the sun started setting, the absolute main reason to choose this hotel. There is a floor with heated communal baths (male and female) again with stunning views! I did not go as i wanted to respect the instruction of no tattoos My husband however loved this facility and used it every evening of our stay. On that floor there are also various vending machines (beer, soft drinks and ice cream), a cool down room and a room with a treadmill and bike machine and massage chairs. We ate at the basement restaurant which was lovely traditional Japanese food (was a shame the top floor restaurant wasn't open we would have booked there too) Great selection of breakfast items available. Thank you for a wonderful stay The walk to the tram service and local shop was only around 15-20 minutes down hill. Mild level of fitness required if walking back.

Really enjoyed this stay, very large room with every hotel amenity you could think of. Huge tv, great coffee maker, the usual Japanese hotel toiletries plus a lot extra, welcome drinks, drinks fridge/machine in room. Bath was a huge spa, much more comfortable than expected (and all the bath salts & oils etc) The room service food was cheap and very high quality, super impressed. A bit tricky to order via the tv using Google translate on my phone but worth the effort. Everything we ordered was great, from Steak to Sando’s. If your feeling adventurous and want to try out a Japanese “love hotel” I’d say give it a go. For the space in the room if nothing else - king size bed was comfy & huge with room to swing several cats lol Also good aircon, very effective block out curtains and pretty good noise dampening. Slept so well!

Fabulous clean modern hotel overlooking the castle and gardens by the river, and it's cheap! The room had all needs, kettle fridge etc. microwave and ice by the elevator. Very close to the gardens, castle and museums. Free parking. All round a great place to stay in Okayama which is a interesting town.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was, really great rooms, super friendly staff, a washmachine and dryer in your room to use for free, wow! On booking.com, the hotel comes accross as a bit shabby, but it is not at all. Everything is very new, spacious and well maintained.

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

This small 4 room hotel was fabulous! there's Cafe Kitsune right next door, and few steps away is Korakuen Garden and a boardwalk alongside a beautiful river. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with a big balcony and our son loved it.
