This is the second stay at Hankyu Respire Hotel. We picked this hotel for it's excellent location. It is adjacent to Osaka Station which serves both the JR line and metro. A floor of restaurants is literally a escalator ride away as are other eateries nearby. The Airport Bus terminal to Kansai Airport is around the corner. They didn't open up check-in until almost 3 pm so it seemed that early check-ins were not allowed. The line for check-in was quite long as they were setting up the self-check-in kiosks. However, they directed some to the staffed counter and the line progressed. The Respire held our luggage for a week that we sent from Tokyo. The held luggage system was fast and efficient. The room was comfortable with the expected amenities: bottled water, hot water pot, etc. Especially appreciated was the closet to hang clothes, iron/ironing board, and separate rooms for the bath/shower and toilet. On this second stay we opted for a lower floor which turned out to be fine since the lobby is on the 9th floor of the building.
