Perfect for spending one or two nights relaxing. Sit in your private onsen and watch the trees in the evening eat the dinner at the hotel. It is a sumptuous six course Japanese meal. Between sashimi, great sushi and hida beef you won’t be disappointed. The price is well worth it! You can easily reach it by bus from takayama and it is a nice walk to the hirayu waterfall. Definitely recommended for some peace and quiet.

Location is perfectly close to Hirayu bus station. Very large room compared to other facility in Japan. Private onsen available if noone is using. Mitsue Kinoshita is an elderly lady and manages everything! She uses a tablet to translate everything in your native language. Everything was uncomplicated and gave off the feeling of staying at your japanese grandma in her traditional japanese house with her beautifukly maintaines garden amd ourdoor earea. The dinner (in yukata) was an amazing variation with hida beef as the main star. You grill it yourself on a little charcoal grill. Finally, the onsen. Absolutely amazing! Indoor and outdoor, open 24h (because it is a hot spring^^). She even has a onsen foot bath on the terrace. Of note, the toilets are shared and the bathroom are the indoor and ourdoor onsen.
