Location was amazing- walking distance from the station and from the old town. The place was beautiful, and the rooms had everything. Futons were very comfy. The onsen was the best I tried so far (but I haven’t tried a lot). We did the private bath, and it was really nice. They also lend you yukatas to wear around the ryokan. And the staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

We had a beautiful room looking out over the river and gardens. Our room had a private toilet and wash basin, with access to the public/shared onsen/bath. The hosts were very amenable and friendly. Highly recommend if you want a traditional experience of Japanese hospitality.

Beautiful traditional Ryokan, the staff is amazing. Very nice Onsen (they allowed me in in spite of several tattoos) and delicious dinner and breakfast. Recommended for trying the traditional Japanese hospitality.

We got a beautiful suite, clean and fully equipped. The breakfast was great but not necessarily suitable for all children (mine are picky), although they tried very hard to accommodate our wishes. The service was excellent, Jackson was very helpful, picked us up late and explained everything to us with a lot of patience. He also handled the luggage transition for us which was a huge time saver.
