Absolutely amazing! Our best experience in Japan! The ryokan is so well let and well decorated, and everyone was very accommodating and kind. The onsen was also great and breakfast was delicious. I would come to Takayama again just for the chance to stay here again.

Authentic Japenese styled Ryokan. Excellent on-site onsen. Staff helps you and encourages you to wear a Yakuta. Great Service. Excellent breakfast in a very nice dining location. Very clean and efficient service. Celebrated partner’s birthday very nicely.

I loved the breakfast. It was my second time staying there, couldn't forget the taste of Hoba Miso with rice so needed to come back! Building is very historical and beautiful. People are very nice and warm. Great experience to feel how people are living in old time of Japan.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation, the host was very friendly and helpful, everything was clean. In the morning he would prepare fresh coffee for us as an extra service. The last day he brought us to the translation by car which was very friendly! Loved everything, would certainly recommend this accommodation. Location is perfect, you can walk easily around in the area. Thank you! It was great.
