Absolutely loved the hotel. Clean, modern room with a lobby room equipped with coin wash machines, drinks and a nice layout. I feared that the room might be too small however for a couple with only one large suitcase it was totally manageable. Would definitely stay again!

Room was spacious for Tokyo, with a real desk.
Cocktails in the old imperial bar were the best we ever had.
Location is great next to imperial palace, and the Art Nouveau interior is magnificient.

Kitano Hotel was the best stay we had on our 2 month trip to seven Asian countries and Oceania. We wanted to extend our 6 day stay to 10 days but they were already fully booked! This hotel definitely felt more like a 5 stars hotel and the value is incredible. The hotel facility is classy and high-end but not stuffy, room are spacious, housekeeping comes everyday and even does turn down service (such a nice touch!), the front desk staff goes above and beyond, and of course the location is super convenient to the metro. We noticed many hotels in Asia list that they have concierge service but when asked to help with making a reservation they say they can't help! Kitano was very gracious with helping with making restaurant reservations (much needed for post-pandemic era and dinning with a 5 year old) even when they don't have a concierge service. Zachary Chan, a sweet well-spoken English speaking front desk staff, went out of his way to help us get DisneyLand Tokyo tickets when we were running out of all options to purchase them (even Amex concierge can't get you Disneyland tickets)! He walked us over to a nearby convenient store that has a kiosk to purchase it and navigated the machine (since it's all in Japanese) to get the tickets. If it wasn't for him, my daughter would have missed out on her dream to go to Disneyland for the first time! It's really the thoughtful and friendly care at Kitano that leaves an ever lasting impression. We would most definitely stay here next time we are in Tokyo!
