So so so beautiful!! The building itself was absolutely gorgeous, clearly authentic traditional style, peaceful homely atmosphere. The room was amazing, so spacious, tasteful, bright and cozy. The staff were warm and helpful at all times and we got a great tour of the facilities at check in. Yukatas and a key to the onsens were provided in addition to the beautiful private baths on the property. The food was delicious, as were the tea and snacks in the room. 10/10 I can’t recommend this place high enough!!

Everything was truly amazing, we were in Japan 3 times, but this experience was the best! The owners were so kind and caring, it could be seen in little details and overall. The building was gorgeous, our room was traditional but at the same time very comfortable and had modern facilities. Local private onsen is just another topic of conversation! Very cozy, beautiful and unique. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful, delicious and served with soul. We were able to take some pictures in this hotel and in the end the owner even gave us a souvenir! I would recommend it from the bottom of my heart 💔

The staff gave us a very warm welcome. They were friendly, attentive and highly courteous. The ryokan was charming, centrally located and right on the river. Our room and the baths were lovely. The freshly brewed coffee for guests in the morning was much appreciated on such a snowy morning.
