Beautiful Ryokan in the mountains, away from the crowded center of Yufuin but still just few minutes walking from there.
We booked the annex accommodation with private onsen, the room was amazing and just 30 sec from main building for even more intimacy.
The staff is super kind and full of attention for us, they delivered my luggage to my room once it has been delivered and they were always helpful with anything and always smiling. They even offered to take a picture of us at the check out before we left on their beautiful terrace.
The restaurant where we have the breakfast is small so you can enjoy quietly your delicious traditional Japanese breakfast, we had 2 different breakfast for for 2 days we stayed. And aln of it just in front of the wonderful view of Yufu mountain.

Food was wonderful, such a great quality of ingredients, so filling, and totally worth it for the price. The place was amazing and calm, and both the private bath, and the family one was clean, comfortable and great. The location is really close also to the lake, and the main street to explore during the day. Futon was really comfortable, and they provided a kotatsu since it was really cold outside. It was a dreamy traditional japanese stay.

It was my first visit to Yufuin, and I came here with my parents for a family trip. Our two-night stay at this ryokan was truly unforgettable — one of the most special experiences we’ve ever had.
The room was in excellent condition, and the view was simply breathtaking. The sight of Mt. Yufu through the large window was absolutely stunning. The private onsen in the room was fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor baths, and we could even adjust the water temperature to our liking.
The TV supported YouTube and phone mirroring, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner twice, and each meal in our private dining room was exceptional.
Most importantly, the service was outstanding. Every staff member was kind and attentive, but I especially want to mention Mr. Nepali, whose thoughtful and detailed service made our stay even more special.
We had a wonderful time here, and I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting Yufuin.
