Overall, the hotel offered decent value for what I paid - good mid-priced choice of place to stay while exploring Colombo. The staff were friendly and always greeted you with a smile. The room was spacious enough, with sufficient variety of TV channels in English. The location was good for a first-time visitor to Colombo, within walking distance from Galle Face Green, and right across from the old Dutch Hospital. The variety on offer at the breakfast buffet is impressive, and they did vary some of what was served between the two days I had breakfast there. The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served is also quite comfortable and has ample powerpoints available in case you need to charge any devices while having breakfast. The quality of the wifi was also good.

Cinnamon Lakeside is located along the banks of Beira Lake in Colombo, 10 minutes’ drive from Crescat Boulevard shopping mall. It features 9 dining options and a full-service health club.

Great location, comfortable space, amazing owners and an incredible breakfast. The room has everything you need - a comfortable bed, a table, a spacious bathroom and even a balcony. The room is equipped with air conditioning and a fan. There is also a corner with a kettle and a set of tea and coffee.
