Great location, the beach was great for swimming which was practically private. Room was spacious and light filled, good aircon. Breakfast great and dinner on the beach was a good touch. Wifi is strong. Staff were great and helped us organise tuktuks and taxis.

Seven Turtles is located only steps away from the tranquil beach. The property welcomes its guests with an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi access and complimentary parking facilities.

Location, right in front of the beach. The pool area is right on the sand. Staff super friendly and nice food. Prices were affordable.

Aruni and the Blue Ocean resort team were amazing from start to finish. We booked the ocean view room and it was so stunning that we decided to stay for a month. During that month, we got help from Aruni with booking lagoon tours, setting up a trip to both the safari parks that were nearby and a lot of other things. Whenever we needed tuktuks she would go out of her way to arrange it for us. One time I had to take a sick stray dog to the vet and she arranged everything with the vet and tuktuk to take me there, she even fed him and now he is there often and it was very sweet and she really did not have to do that. I cannot recommend Blue Ocean enough to anyone thinking about staying here. The beach is quiet and huge, there is so much wildlife nearby and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Whenever we wanted to eat at the resort we would ask her in advance for some fish, lobsters and shrimp. On our last day they even had bbq which was very tasty. Thank you Blue Ocean team. We will definitely be back! And we already miss the two (now three haha) dogs Brownie, Emma and Cheese ball :D

Staff and owner are very nice , always ready to help you with everything you need. Breakfast exceptional. Room was very clean and had everything that we needed. Close to the beach. This was the best experience that we had until now in Sri Lanka.

Super nice hotel, beautiful garden and very clean swimmingpool. Several restaurants are near by and a nice beach. Staff was extremly friendly and the breakfast we had was delicious. A big plus is the free kayaks!

I cant find words fort this amazing place ...we spend here 3 nights and i was very unhappy that we must leave this place. The place is modern, clean, peacful, almost like paradise :) . Restaurant offers teasty meals for meat lovers and vegetarians. All staff are polite, nice and always ready to help you. Swimming pool had great view to beautiful lagoon. Bonus is sunset from pool. Almost privet beach is only 3 min by foot.

Shine Wave Turtle Beach has a garden, a private beach area and a sun terrace with swimming pool and Full English/Irish breakfast in Tangalle.

We enjoyed our stay here :) apartment was clean and comfortable. Host was very nice and helpful. He recommend us a lot of places where to go and what to do and rented us a scooter. We had delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful beach is just a few meters away. You can’t swim because of big waves but you can walk and see turtles. A lot of good restaurants is around. It is also suitable for longer stays. We stayed for a whole week. You will have everything you need here :) we really recommend.

The staff is great, extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner is very good and of high quality. Absolutely good value for money. The grounds are beautiful with a large variety of tropical trees and other plants and a lovely swimming pool for use at any time of day or night.We loved our stay here, best part of our Sri Lankan trip and would highly recommend staying here.The bast place we’ve been to in Sri Lanka.

We enjoyed our stay in Omia, best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks vacation. The bungalow was big enough for two people, very nice interior design. What I personally noticed and liked is that the bungalow has those little things you might need when on vacation - a mosquito repellent diffuser, a broom, a bottle of filtered water, additional pillows, a torch etc. Another advantage is remoteness of this hotel from parties and loud places. Omia is the right choice for you if you wanna relax. The team and the owner were extremely friendly, found us a bike, helped us finding the souvenirs, the right beaches, cafes.

We had such an amazing experience during our three-night stay. Location : Hotel is perfectly located, away from roads and city. It is not in heart of Tangalle, but it is what we liked, being in full nature, isolated from rush. Everything is accessibl with tuktuk, or you can rent a scooter through the hotel (that was we did for 3k rs per 24h). Several beaches and views around the hotel in walking distance. We chilled at the hotel, few intimate spots with sofa, sun beds, mostly with shade we need. The pool is incredible. A bit of Azulejos style. Room : Our room was perfect, clean, very good wifi, best room view ever with a 240° on the ocean. Huge balcony, very large, comfy bed, good bathroom installations. Robust and recent air conditonning, with a silent night mode. Big cooling roof fan working well and silent as well. Food & service : Hotel staff is kind and professional. A high level of hospitality service. Varied food, at reasonable price, which is not the case everywhere around. We had few lunches and dinners there. Finally, breakfast is delicious, with full of options : fresh fruits, different teas, coffees, even expresso (we didn't try, because we asked only tea during our stay in Sri-Lanka, Sri-Lankan style with different options, oat & fruits like a DIY porridge, pancakes, freshly break with butter and jam (good quality product, tasty). We are vegetarian, so we had many options there.
