Super quiet, staff is so nice, generous and always happy to support. The place is so peaceful and it’s a good way to cut yourself from the world, spend quality time with your loved ones and relax! I have even proposed my girlfriend in this beautiful place as everything was gathered for this unique moment! I recommend 100% this lovely place and we will come back for sure 😍😍

Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.

everything was excellent: new hotel with all the needed furniture and nicely styled, big bathroom and room, very clean. Breakfast on the balcony (upper floor) with nature sounds was amazing. Omia was the highlight of our trip along the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is a luxurious gem in a beautiful calm area - we liked it so much after our first stay that we changed our travel plans to go back and stay again! The layout of the grounds is wonderfully designed, with each guest cabin nestled in greenery, an open restaurant and chill out area with a view of the sea, hammocks dotted around, a great swimming pool and a short path leading directly to a very empty and beautiful beach. They have also taken a lot of care of the garden which is bursting with all sorts of bushes, flowers and trees (from which we got fresh coconuts every day!). The rooms themselves are also fantastic - very spacious, clean with a warm design. We took a sea view cabin and spent hours on the balcony enjoying the spectacular view. I also have to give a special mention to the chefs as the food was really great quality at a good price. I would definitely recommend thé Sri Lankan curry! Another very nice touch was the daily cakes (coconut, lemon, chocolate) which they made fresh nearly every day and served with ice cream. However, the thing that makes this place stand out the most is the people, the Omia team were a pleasure to be with. Everyone was friendly, helpful and made sure you started and ended everyday with a smile and a laugh. A big thank you to everyone at Omia for such a wonderful experience and we will be back!

Loved this hotel. Lovely big room, so clean and modern. Couple of minutes walk to silent beach. Breakfast was also lovely both days.
