Everything was perfect here. We booked 2 private villas that were very beautiful and calm. The food was delicious (you can book lunch and dinner here, if you want to). My mom and me had ayurvedic massages which we loved - I really recommend trying it. Also, one day we got food poisoned (not in this hotel) and the staff, especially Supun, was so nice about it - they agreed to prepare just some plain rice for us for our dinner. Even though it’s a bit further from the Tangalle city, it’s a perfect place to relax.

The rooms were very clean, they had ac and a fan and there was even a fridge in the room which was super convenient. They offer a huge and delicious breakfast which we ordered and it was completely worth it. The area was very quiet and peaceful and there is a beach for swimming just a few minutes away on foot. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he gave us some advice on which bus to take continuing our journey and on good places to eat. It was a really nice stay, I highly recommend it.

The best accomondation we had during our whole stay in Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a relaxed beach holiday, this is the place to go! Beautifully located at an almost empty beach, a perfect oasis for talking walks, reading or going on a bike trip (free bike rentals!). The owners and the staff were absolutely lovely and the food was amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Amazing place and service! We stayed in many 5-star accommodations during our travels, but this place has much better service. The people are amazing—friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The villas are very clean and beautiful, as is the pool area. The food is also excellent. I can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely everything! It felt like little paradise, amazing room amongst the trees, with the “open” bathroom, fresh breeze all over 😍 We just loved it! On top of everything, there are the most attentive, friendly and professional staff, Loku as the main manager was every time few steps ahead and I haven’t seen such a professional and client approach in a looong time! Would love for him to come to Czech and teach how to do it most of the facilities there :D As for the breakfast - DELICIOUS and huge and every day they surprise you with something new 😊 And - it was all much better then what you imagine from the pictures :)

everything was excellent: new hotel with all the needed furniture and nicely styled, big bathroom and room, very clean. Breakfast on the balcony (upper floor) with nature sounds was amazing. The hospitality and kindness of the host 10 out of 10. Beautiful, large, deserted beach, exactly what is needed if you want to rest from busy environment and enjoy beauty of the nature

Omia was the highlight of our trip along the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is a luxurious gem in a beautiful calm area - we liked it so much after our first stay that we changed our travel plans to go back and stay again! The layout of the grounds is wonderfully designed, with each guest cabin nestled in greenery, an open restaurant and chill out area with a view of the sea, hammocks dotted around, a great swimming pool and a short path leading directly to a very empty and beautiful beach. They have also taken a lot of care of the garden which is bursting with all sorts of bushes, flowers and trees (from which we got fresh coconuts every day!). The rooms themselves are also fantastic - very spacious, clean with a warm design. We took a sea view cabin and spent hours on the balcony enjoying the spectacular view. I also have to give a special mention to the chefs as the food was really great quality at a good price. I would definitely recommend thé Sri Lankan curry! Another very nice touch was the daily cakes (coconut, lemon, chocolate) which they made fresh nearly every day and served with ice cream. However, the thing that makes this place stand out the most is the people, the Omia team were a pleasure to be with. Everyone was friendly, helpful and made sure you started and ended everyday with a smile and a laugh. A big thank you to everyone at Omia for such a wonderful experience and we will be back!

Loved this hotel. Lovely big room, so clean and modern. Couple of minutes walk to silent beach. Breakfast was also lovely both days.
