The Riad is located directly at a cute little square in the Medina, the square is crowded by day and quiet by night - with at least two very good restaurants.
The Riad itself is very nice and the room I stayed in was very comfortable, quiet, super clean and all perfect.
Breakfast was amazing too and the staff very very friendly.
I enjoyed staying there a lot.
Hostel riad maqam is ideally situated in Essaouira, and has a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace.

I stayed at this beautifully decorated traditional Riad and was thoroughly impressed. It offers both double rooms and dormitories, all immaculately clean and well maintained, with comfortable bedding and en-suite bathroom and shower. The Riad is perfectly located in the medina, close to everything you might need, and is easily accessible from both Bab Doukala and Bab Marrakech.
There are lovely shared spaces on the ground floor and the rooftop, for relaxing or socializing. Although I only stayed for one night, I will definitely come back.
