What can we say about this stunning hotel?! By far one of the best we have stayed at. The architecture, style, the food (possibly the best hotel restaurant we’ve ever eaten at), the pool, the beach, the spa…everything was pretty much perfect. We had quite a windy day during our stay, which resulted in quite a few mosquitos in the bathroom - hotel services were incredibly quick to come to the room and remove these for us. The bay itself is so picturesque and serene - being a bay, the waves never get too rough, which is perfect for the activities that come as part of the price. All of the staff went consistently above and beyond and little extras like providing a packed breakfast/lunch whilst we were out on early excursions were lovely touches. Amazing, amazing hotel.

Cenotes Casa Tortuga is located 11 km from Tulum, and offers access to cenotes from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Akumal is 15 km away and guests have free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Really nice, clean and big appartment, comfy big bed and cenote aprox 10 min walk. Good to visit early in the morning or before closing time to avoid crowds ( cenote belongs to a cenote complex available for turists ). I would definitely recommend this apartment :)

Incredible glamping! Everything about it was perfect. The domes are beautiful, the space inside is perfectly utilized and super comfortable. The jacuzzi was wonderful, very well positioned. We spent half of our stay in there! One note - they manually fill it up with hot water, the heating or temperature adjustment doesn't actually work. So make sure you request this in advance if you want to use it in specific hours or at night. We requested a fire pit on the day we arrived and they set up everything perfectly, even had the marshmellow sticks ready for us :) The little kitchenette is very well equipped, with everything you need. The breakfast is simple but good. The kid's park is a nice addition, our kids loved it.. A short walk from the glamping, we found one of the most beautiful cenotes I've seen and it's free! Definitely worth a visit. It's right on the junction.

Attractive and quiet location, a perfect place to relax. Right on the beach with just a handful of other guests, this is the opposite of the rather industrial tourist complexes that blight the coast a few miles away. Set in the jungle near Tulum, there are three pools, and a gorgeous green lagoon with bar and food service and extremely comfortable lounging, paddle boards and kayaks. We did both tours with the amazing Gonzo; Cenote underground water tour and the Mayan Village Tour on bikes. These were the highlights of our vacation so do not miss -- our older teens just loved them! During our stay we saw iguanas, bats, giant spiders, and a boa constrictor. Note, there were no crocs in the lagoon! There were three options for the included breakfast (plus a fruit bowl, granola, honey and yogurt, coffee and a fresh juice). Options were pancakes or waffles with maple syrup, eggs and bacon with salad, or a traditional Mexican chiquillies with an egg and green or red salsa. Each of our family had a different preference for breakfast which we enjoyed. Breakfast was so filling we could last until late afternoon until our next meal. As we had rented a car we visited nearby Akumal and Puerto Aventuras for meals (another traveler recommended AVIS for car rental). We spent four nights at Wakax. If you have a car, I suggest a three night stay so you can do both tours. BTW, if you have claustrophobia you may not like the cenote tour. The bikes are great fun, staff and owners are very friendly, the rooms are huge and right out of a glossy travel magazine, and the setting is out of this world!

This is a perfect spot to get away from the crowds of tourists and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. The host Juan is a very kind and special man, a great cook, who will do everything to make your stay exceptional. The pool in front of the cabins is just amazing, it gives you the opportunity to cool off after a day of sightseeing or just relax the entire day like we did a few times. There is a village nearby where you can eat local food and enjoy a drink in the evening with live music at times. THANK YOU JUAN!! You made our stay in Mexico unforgettable!!
