I'll sum up our experience like this -- we didn't want to leave! The hotel has been beautifully curated with even the finest details applied. Truely an experience, with everything you could ever need on site -- incredible rooftop pool and sauna, multiple restaurants on-site, a cafe in the lobby for a coffee or sweet fix, whenever you need. I cannot wait to return to Oslo, simply to stay at Sommerro. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a weekend at this art deco paradise!

Location is great, close to the tram going downtown, the rooms are spacious, comfortable clean and beautiful, the small balcony is amazing, the bathroom is clean and very easy. We were touched by the great hospitality of the hosts: coffee, tea, oil, salt and pepper and even pop corn were available , as well as clothes detergent. All this is very precious when you are traveling with short stays. And they have been very responsive all over our stay.

Just want to say wow. This place is amazing. The location. The view. The property. The customer service. If you want luxury you ain't getting better than here. Wish I could have stayed longer. We really liked it here! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and went the extra mile to meet our requests even before we arrived, so we felt very safe and welcome! The kitchen unit is very useful and we really enjoyed the free coffee. Once the coffee machine stopped working, but the staff immediately helped and were competent to repair it. In general, the staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful at any time and they always tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. So if you need anything, just talk to them, they all are amazing people and super nice. :) The location is amazing, there are many points of interests you can reach by foot, and even if you don't want to walk, there is a tram station nearby that's served by quite a few lines. If you want to go shopping, there are many options within reach (even for grocery shopping), and there's a cafe right next to the hotel as well. So I really can't think of anything that's missing. The area itself is lively, but still quiet at night (except for Fridays, but it still was okay). No matter what time of day it was, we always felt very safe and comfortable, which made our stay absolutely enjoyable! :)

The room looks better than in the pictures! Spotless, comfortable well designed (for the eye and for practical use). The building is 100 years old and is interesting to explore. The location is a 5 minute walk to the royal palace (which is located at the city center). What I loved most is that the bathroom floor is heated. Amazing experience!
