We spent very good time in Temple House, a very traditionnel building, and went back there before to leave Népal :-) It's very close from Durbar Square. The staff is very helpful and friendly :-)

It’s a family owend guest house therefore the warmth welcoming from the owner Shailendra and his family was very special.
The terrace made a huge difference, with a 360 degrees view, spending sunrise and sunsets, was amazing.
And of course having the Stumpa and lake view made the stay have a cherry on top of the cake.
The room is big and comfortable, the sharing kitchen was very useful!

Super friendly staff, they made us feel very welcomed. Location is great, on Durbar Square. Very cute and charming hotel, chalet style. Room was comfy, spacious and clean with a, nice bathroom. Lovely breakfast, little terrace as well.

For architecture lovers because of its original Newari architecture and tastefully decorated rooms and courtyard. Literally 20 sec walk from Patan Durbar. Great breakfast and service and very accommodating when we needed to stay a few extra nights. We forgot some valuables which they safeguarded for us until we returned from our other travels.

Great appartment, all you need for short/long stays. Owners are great. Kitchen and bathroom is new and clean, everything works and windows are toward the sun so appartment is warmer then other hotels/appartment I've been in Katmandu.
