The owner is very friendly, and helped us with our queries even at night. Responsive to help messages even before the trip too.
The room is extremely clean, spacious and comfortable.
There is even a room spa bathtub, something which many facilities do not have.
The location is very near the sea, which is of a very beautiful view. It is also about 5 mins away from town which has different shops and eateries. Very convenient to get food.

Esther and Tom have created a sublimely welcoming home away from home bed and breakfast where no stone was left unturned. From the fine bed and bath linens to the towel warmer to the home made curated daily tea cakes and banquet style breakfasts. You will want for nothing whilst being transferred back to a more genteel time of relaxing conversation with your hosts and other guests and relish in the time honored and valued traditions of fine living of a bygone era. The nightly evening turn down service w/chocolates accompanied by the silver tray of port wine was priceless. And all this a mere stones throw from the most exquisite historically preserved Deco town I can recall peppered w/wonderful restaurant choices. A most memorable visit!

We had a room with a beautiful sea view but unfortunately Cyclone Gabrielle hit Napier on Monday night. Gagah, motel manager was exceptional in keeping us up to date. Letting us stay longer as all roads from Napier were closed. He provided a bbq and gas to enable cooking and nothing was too much trouble. We cannot thank or praise him enough for his help and support during a very difficult time especially as he had his own family to worry about.

This is near the aquarium. so, it is very convenient. Dorm room is very spacious. Have nearby plugs and reading lights too. You have street parking as well. Kitchen and dining area is also good.
