Amazing sympathy of the staff and a wonderful breakfast.

The whole stay in the hotel was an exceptional experience.The expectations from the photos and reviews were high, but the reality even exceeded it. The staff was always kind, smiling, explained everything perfectly and was always helpful. My greatest admiration goes to the staff at the Rose Garden Restaurant, who even when they are busy around other guests, make your visit a unique moment. The half board accommodation was absolutely worth it. The breakfasts are rich in fresh food and the selection varied even slightly. Dinners consist of a three course menu and there is a choice in each course. However, the dining experience is beyond description, what a perfect interplay of flavours the local chefs are able to create. The cherry on top of our stay was the perfect area with nooks and crannies where one could sit and relax in peace. Madeira is a beautiful island, I would not have enjoyed my holiday so much without the quality and peaceful facilities. I will be happy to return.

The perfect base for exploring Madeira. The Residence Porto Mare – Porto Bay is an absolutely stunning place. We enjoyed every second of our stay. It was magical from start to finish. A warm and friendly welcome at reception. The reception staff were very kind to us, took our luggage to our room and helped us navigate the huge grounds. We had a studio room, spacious and very comfortable with good furniture. Large terrace with table and chairs, and in front of it a garden with sun loungers. The kitchen-studio was equipped with everything you need to prepare dinner. The beds are huge and the mattresses are very comfortable for a great night's sleep. The room is spotlessly clean, cleaned every day. A special mention goes to the housekeeper Zite Figueira. Her cheerful attitude and cheerful laughter made our stay even more enjoyable. We celebrated my wife's birthday in the Alfama a la carte restaurant. The food was excellent and the manager of the restaurant Paulo and his whole team made my wife's day unforgettable. The cake with candles and congratulations from the staff was great. The hotel staff also congratulated us with champagne in the room. We would like to thank everyone. It was a wonderful surprise. I must say that all the staff of the residence are very friendly, polite, diligent and helpful. The breakfast staff was always professional, despite being very busy. The breakfast in the Atlantida restaurant, "buffet", was very good. The quality of the food is excellent. Beautiful well-kept green area, beautiful gardens, great pools, jacuzzi, gym, "happy hour"! There are enough places on the sun loungers. Supermarket and shopping center next door. Lido nearby. Many restaurants and bars around Everything was perfect for our stay. We had a great time. Amazing place with view to ocean. A lot of restaraunts and two bath komplexs near to accomodation.

We liked everything! Convenient location, parking spot, supermarket nearby, public transport station just across road, easy access. Very spacious, very clean, fully equipped with everything necessary for a stay, the bed was massive and very comfortable, nice view. The host was very friendly and responsive. We really appreciate it. No issues whatsoever. We would recommend and we would book the appointment again! Thank you very much!

We had a great time - couldn't find a reason to complain. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the host provided us with all the necessary information upon our arrival. We were a bit worried about localization a bit further from Funchal center, however the vicinity offered many restaurant, shops and attractions for our convenience.

Very bright and clean apartament offering a splendid ocean view. Freshly renowated, equipped with very comfortable beds, vast garderobes, washing machine and walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen - nothing one would need more in order to prepare a nice dinner. Coffee, tea, sugar and cookies were offered - very nice touch. Next to Lido promenade, plage and bathing place. Forum mall is 5 minuts walk, as well as bus stops. Very calm, only wawes and sunrise will wake you up. Onsite swimming pool and terace gives a possibility to chill out without walking.

Stay in mid-March 2025. We are very pleased with the stay. The spacious apartment shines and smells clean. The staff is very helpful and polite. Perfect contact. Easy access from the airport, by bus for 6.40 € / person. We highly recommend. We will definitely come back.
