I could right a novelle of this place, but I´ll try to be short: It is the very best hotel I´ve stayed in in whole my life, 98 countries visited. Of course it´s subjective, and you can find a lot of hard-luxury ones, but if: You are not into big resorts You are not into too (I mean WAY TOO) fancy and luxurious places If you ARE into relaxing, calm, discreet, stylish, neatly designed small boutique hotels with a GREAT restaurants for the dinner and the best breakfasts you can imagine; If you are into the places where you feel the staff to be your friends, not servants; If the view from your room´s window is importnat for you; If you like little (or not so little) surprises :) Then this is the place I can recommend the most. I´ve been to hundreds different hotels, but this is the palce we will be dreaming of. Go and get this experience yourself.

Everything! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a small problem with shower tap, and although it was very late when we realised, it was solved promptly. The decoration is beautiful and neat, the bed very comfortable, everything very clean. Location was also great.

Excellent location for exploring the less touristy areas of Porto - including great access to the river and the Cedofeita neighborhood. The room was very comfortable and the rooftop pool is dreamy.

This is really a delicate place, you can appreciate their design from rooms to garden, or enjoy their host from breakfast time to front door service. Even they are not in the heart of tourist zone, however, you are close to beautiful parks of the cities, and quiet corner to relish the Douro river. I really like this special and lovely space, and strongly suggested to people who love historical and classical touch.
