The Grand Hotel Continental is one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a long while, the large room was recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Completely peaceful at night with great air conditioning, shower and bath, we had a very pleasant 4 night stay.
Having become a bit jaded over the years we were delighted to discover that room service was particularly good and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we tried.
The staff are great, unfailingly cheerful and helpful, we would like to particularly thank Mirela the Front Office Manager who really went out of her way to help us get some things organised in a very efficient and charming manner.
The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes from the heart of the old town and if you’re there at the weekend the street outside becomes a pedestrian boulevard on Saturday and Sunday where there are often musical happenings going on.
We have now stayed in quite a few hotels in Bucharest but we have now found our home and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in future.

I strongly recommend the Nobel Hotel. From the moment you enter the hotel, it is evident that the staff is skilled, courteous and dedicated to providing the highest level of service. They do everything in their power to ensure that the guests' stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
The professionalism of the staff is reflected in every aspect - starting with the efficiency of the check-in and check-out process
But what makes Melon special is the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that prevails in it.
