The room and services were excellent. Excellent range of choices for breakfast - I especially liked the fresh fruit and the pastries. The location was very quiet and convenient - only 4 minutes by taxi to the centre. The hotel is 3 minutes walk to the coast where there are great views and walks.

Everything about my stay from start to end was excellent. There was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for the staff. Virginie was so welcoming and knowledgeable and always took time to serve her guests herself each morning. She would make suggestions for sight seeing and where to obtain information. The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel with every amenity you need. Spotlessly clean and artistically decorated throughout- each room has a slightly different feel - but at the same time has a homey cosy feel. It was like an unexpected hidden oasis in the middle of somewhat dusty streets. To tell you how much I loved the hotel I had previously arranged to stay elsewhere after in initial stay at Nyeleni but returned to Nyeleni instead. Thank you to Virginie and staff for such a fabulous stay. I will definitely recommend and would not hesitate to rebook Nyeleni if I return to Dakar.

This hotel has to be the best value in Dakar. It wasn’t just a hotel room. It was a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. It was amazing. The service was incredible. For the price there is absolutely no way you can beat this place.
