very friendly staff since the moment we arrived. I could speak Mandarin but I also really appreciated that the staff was very willing to speak English to my partner. breakfast spread (both Taiwanese and western breakfast) were amazing. Loved the pineapple cakes and bought extras to bring back home! also loved the comfortable slippers from the room and wanted to buy a pair but too bad my size was not available.

We loved this hotel and wished we had booked more nights. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. The hot water tub in the bathroom is a definite plus. We also enjoyed the Beitou area, more relaxed and quieter than the bustle of Taipei, but an easy 27 min metro ride to the Taipei ,win station. We will definitely stay here again when we transit through Taipei.

The hotel is conveniently located a short walk away from the Xin Bei Tou Station. It has many food and convenience stores just nearby (McDonald's, KFC, Yoshinoya/ Watson's, Carrefour, 7-11, Family Mart). The hotel staffs' service is excellent. The room has a hotspring tub with hot spring water piped in, so you don't have to go out to the public hotsprings to enjoy a soak in their famed hot spring water. They also have an in-house spa massage outlet on the 2nd floor and you need to make a booking for it beforehand (pricing depends on the type and length of session - available on their website). All in all a wonderful stay!!

Strategic location - 3 min walking distance from XinBeitou MRT Station, - bus stand exactly opposite hotel to many places of interest, - many convenient places to eat (the nearby KFC served very delicious egg-tart!) - Very helpful staffs at Tourist Information Centre which was located exactly at the Exit of MRT Station 2. Room was nice - loved the whirlpool bathtub with hot-spring water. 3. Breakfast was above average. 4. Very friendly receptionist that spoke reasonably good English.

Really loved the whole experience at Aloft. The staff were helpful, they even surprised me with a birthday cake, really appreciate the kind gesture. Room was spacious and clean, very well equipped as well. Interior was very new and made it a very enjoyable stay. There is also a convenience store just less than 3 minutes walk away for late night cravings.
