This was my favorite hostel in Taiwan. Great location in Ita Thao, one street away from the night market :). The staff is very kind and will help you with everything you need. Common areas are awesome! And I loved how the shared bedroom is. Feels like you have your own room inside the room, with full privacy :)

The staffs there provided an excellent service for pick-up. They pick-up us from Ita Thao to their hotel. They even bring us to the Formosa Culture village when the cable car was out of service due windy condition. They also provided some advice on how to plan some visits. The staff also has exclusive discount for boat ride, bicycle rent and Formosa Culture village tickets. Can also play with their friendly dogs.

The accommodation is in a quiet location. The room is large and everything is super clean. From the balcony you have a wonderful view over the lake and you can enjoy the same view from the huge bathtub.
In the room there is a fridge, kettle and some snacks and drinks. There are fresh towels every day and the snacks are replenished.

A perfect venue to be near the pier and soak in all the tourist sites, 2 mins walk to the Ita Thao Pier and food street. The service staff were fantastic, especially Hank who was superb in making us comfortable and well settled, highly recommend especially for travellers with family to take the biggest room on level 8, extremely spacious and comfortable.

This hotel feels like an institution, despite muted impressions from the facade when you see it for the first time. Fantastic attention to detail, great food and facilities.
Hotel is located only 10 min away from one of the most beautiful temples I’ve ever seen.
Staff and management went above and beyond to make out stay comfortable.
There is also hotel provided shuttle bus to/from Taichung high speed station.

Lake B&B was exceptional. The host couple are so friendly. They provided excellent tips about SunMoon Lake. The breakfasts were tasty. Introducing one to all the local Taiwanese breakfast treats. Served always with a plate a fresh fruit. The rooms are huge with great views to either the lake or forest. We loved sitting on our balcony enjoying our morning tea. The beds are so extremely comfortable and the bathroom pristine. Loved the body wash which smelled divine. Location is brilliant. 10 minutes walk along the waterway to the pier but yet somewhat removed from the bustle of the town. I would love to stay here again

It's location is close to the station of Sun Moon Lake cable car. In addition, there is a walk way along the lake to the pier and market with walking distance. The breakfast is quite nice for hostel, delicious vegetables, pumpkin and cabbage especially.
