I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam for just one night before my flight back to Amsterdam, and it was a wonderful experience. Although the stay was short, I was truly impressed by the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The attention to detail and overall service were equally exceptional, making me feel very well taken care of. The hotel also arranged the transfer from the airport, which cost 120 euros for a round trip. Though the driver was slightly late, it was understandable because my flight landed about half an hour earlier than scheduled. The drive itself took about 30 minutes, which was quick and convenient. While the transfer price is on the higher side, the outstanding service provided by the hotel more than made up for it. All in all, Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam delivered a top-notch experience—even if just for one night—and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.

All the staff were very friendly: Bruce the GM and Jerome his deputy went out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome us to the Hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The reception organised a pick up from the ferry terminal and transport to the airport. The hotel is close to the various foreign embassies. It's close to the national museum which is worth a morning visit. And It feels safe to walk to the supermarket (a few mins away) or going the other direction it's about a 20mim walk to the centre. But Tuk Tuks are cheap and generally easy to find. The swimming pool although not deep, is a lovely oasis in the city. really enjoyed our stay.

Special shout out to Jaqueline Happy and the frint desk staff who guided us well for navigating the city. Strong wifi. Exceptional house keepung.
