The room was excellent, the view lovely... can't beat ocean front, and the facilities great. Staff were friendly and there were numerous interesting restaurants nearby.

Well in Europe when you see 2 stars hotel you don't have high expectations. But in this case we felt here better than in the 5 stars hotel we were staying in Las Vegas. I am not an often traveler to US and have chosen very carefully the location and it was top. Next to the ocean, were I could jog in the morning and walk in the evenings, safe and with one of the best restaurants in the San Diego area. The room was like new and very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed including complimentary expresso in our room. The service was outstanding and every morning we used the expresso machine at the reception - again free of charge and there were good options for a lights breakfast, for a very reasonable price. Staff was very polite and helpful. Yes there is a train passing nearby, but it was not noisy at nights. Free parking at the property was very comfortable also.

Best Western Premier Hotel Del Mar is located in the quaint seaside village of Del Mar. The hotel offers a relaxing outdoor pool and hot tub.

There was no problem to have late check out, personel was very nice, we come very late previous day and we need more time in the morning-thank you for that. Breakfast was very tasty and the swimming pool large and heated. We enjoy our stay:)

This a wonderful Hotel; a real gem! I was mesmerized by the special and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. The beds are extremely comfortable - one of the best beds I have had in a Hotel. The staff is exceptional - accommodating, helpful, professional and so friendly! The breakfast is small but good - a tasty fresh juice, coffee and muffins. There is a sundeck at the top of the Hotel with a fantastic view; a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunset. The location is perfect - it is just some steps away from a nice beach and from good seafood restaurants. The Hotel offers towels, beach-chairs and umbrellas for free - an excellent service so that we could enjoy two days at the beach. I highly recommend staying at the Cardiff by the Sea Lodge!
