Great location for everything we wanted to do. It felt safe, and the beds were SO comfy! The bathrooms were clean and the showers were absolutely lovely, loved that they had a private toilet for added privacy. They have lots of lockers and good access to the surrounding area, everything was about a 5-15 minute walk which was perfect
I'd definitely stay here again so I can experience more of what they have to offer!

Totally exceeded our expectations, perfect and comfortable place. We loved it! Close walk yo the beach, next door to one of our favorite restaurants.It changed our entire evening when we thought it wasn't gona be good cuss we had book somewhere else and it was terrible, thanks for everything!

The Waterman is well situated for the waterside and downtown. It's easy to walk to the beach, the wharf, the Presidio, and the Los Banos pool (a lovely outdoor pool).
The hotel room was fine but no more than fine. It did have lots of hooks to hang coats from though...
Breakfast facilities were minimal, but there was plenty of availability of free coffee and tea. We didn't see any guests using the cooker hob - slightly weird in a hotel, but if you fancied scrambling some eggs then the equipment was there.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
OK for a one night stay.

Amazing communication from the hosts on how to access the property. Free parking, wonderful location right in the heart of SB and walking distance to restaurants, beach etc. The rooms were really spacious and very clean with great bathroom facilities and ability to connect to Netflix etc. on the tv.
Gorgeous rooftop, it was a bit cold when we stayed so we didn't make the most of this but can imagine it is beautiful in the summer months

The staff were amazingly helpful. Free bike hire, biking is perfect and safe in the area.
They also had a happy hour 4.30 to 6.30 where you can have afternoon tea/coffee or wine with light things to eat too... so generous!! Pool was gorgeous and rooms were very very very nice and spacious.
