The room was exactly as shown in the pictures—comfortable and well-kept. The staff were fantastic, especially Stephanie, who went above and beyond by recommending local dishes that turned out to be amazing. The rooftop pool and bar were highlights, with great service and a beautiful setting. The hotel is great value for money, with local eateries right next door and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-minute walk. Overall, a wonderful stay.

During my recent business trip combined with leisure in Hanoi, I had the opportunity to stay at Sao Mai Hotel and was truly impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, who were friendly and attentive. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were always ready to answer my questions and assist me throughout my stay.
What impressed me most was the professionalism and dedication of the entire team. They not only arranged a clean and comfortable room for me but also helped book a one-day tour to Ha Long Bay. The trip was well organized, from transportation and sightseeing schedule to lunch on the cruise, giving me a truly memorable day after hours of work.
Breakfast at the hotel was plentiful with many choices, suitable for both business and leisure travelers, helping me start the day full of energy. The hotel’s location is right in the city center, making it very convenient to reach tourist attractions and work locations.
I truly appreciate the professionalism and quality of service at Sao Mai Hotel. This will definitely be my top choice for future business trips or leisure stays in Hanoi.

The host is incredibly nice. We were many hours late unfortunately, but he took it all with a smile. The house and the room is huge. No bugs, huge windows, great AC, nice shares bathroom, good bus connections, calm area not too far from the center.

Everything is brand new, and all the staff are absolutely amazing with a great attitude and extremely helpful to us. Although located in an alley, it is very quiet and safe, which my family really appreciated. Moreover, the breakfast served à la carte was highly impressive. It felt like a personalized dining experience rather than having to queue for food at a buffet, as is common in other hotels. I would like to extend my special thanks to John and Linda for their enthusiastic service. We will definitely return to this hotel next time. Highly recommended!
