I was deeply impressed by its exceptional service and ideal location. Situated right in the heart of Hanoi, the hotel offers both convenience and tranquility — just a few minutes’ walk from the Government Office, the Presidential Palace, and several important ministries. For those visiting the city for business or official purposes, this location simply couldn’t be better.
The rooms are spacious, airy, and always kept spotless. I especially loved how the large windows allowed plenty of natural light to come in, creating a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere after a busy day. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, ensuring comfort and ease throughout my stay.
What truly made the experience memorable was the hospitality of the front desk staff. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were always ready to assist with any request, from arranging transportation to recommending nearby restaurants and attractions. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel truly welcome and well cared for.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi — whether for business or leisure. This hotel is a fantastic choice for budget travelers still want comfort and convenience. It’s small and charming, with a homely feel. The staff made me feel so welcome and even gave me great tips for exploring nearby attractions like the Temple of Literature, Hanoi Train Street, and the vibrant Old Quarter.
The price is very reasonable, and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. I loved how easy it was to get to everything I wanted to see, yet the hotel itself was peaceful and relaxing after a long day. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Hanoi!

I had an amazing time staying at Nam Dong House. Nam is a fantastic person who not only provided excellent accommodation but also entertained me with delicious Vietnamese food. Moreover, he generously offered me the use of his bicycle for free.
