The service was impeccable with great advice on street food, restaurants and shopping locally. Their attention to detail was fantastic – the rooms exceptionally clean and staff always attentive to our needs and the breakfast, excellent. Definitely stay there again when we return.

We had a great family stay in Midori Boutique hotel. From the arrival in our grab ride to the door of the hotel we felt welcome by the staff. The hotel is very well located, very close to main attractions. The hotel staff also helped us to book an excellent day trip to Ninhbinh. The breakfast provided by the hotel was also very good with varied options. We had very relaxing days in Hanoi and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Personally, I found the old quarter to be hectic, loud, and above all overpriced. Hanvet hotel is a $2 cab ride into old quarter, near a great park for strolls, and the nearby food is local delicious, and reasonably priced. Your hotel is serviced daily or every other day, depending on your wishes. The staff is minimal, but attentive. To preface, this is more a hotel for families visiting patients of the hospital nearby, or their children who may be students of the university nearby. That being said, they were very accomodating to us as tourists and made every effort to make us comfortable. While there is a language barrier, google translate easily circumvents any problems. Above all, it was quiet at night and allowed us to get great rest, away from the nonstop hustle and bustle of old quarter. If you don't mind a 10 minute cab ride, or enjoy walking around local neighbourhoods, this hotel is amazing for the price. Also, this hotel is quite new, and so the internet is incredibly fast!
