Loved the quiet location on a busy and touristy island, the room (Sea View 2) and the beautiful balcony, the communal areas, and the excellent staff.

Peace and quiet can be enjoyed at Bamboo Cottages, located on a private beach on Vung Bau Bay, Phu Quoc Island.

Familiar and personal vibe, beautiful location right by the ocean, nicely decorated rooms, the sweetest staff and a BIG plus for environmental awareness and delicious vegan/vegetarian/local & organic meat options on the menu. Also super nice that we could borrow yoga mats and rent motorbikes cheap with the whole profit going directly to the locals owning the bikes. Oh, and the doggies! Loved it all!

As with all the other reviews, access to the property was through a long unpaved road, but you are definitely on the right track! Secluded, not for those who want to be in the heart of a town/city, but we loved every bit of the peace and tranquility it gave. Only about a 15-min drive to Safari Phu Quoc and Grand World, through a paved road. Gold Sand arrange for someone to pick us from the airport, and we were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived. We had two rooms - a large family room for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids), and another for our parents. The family room was much bigger, so air-conditioning took a little while, while the other room was nice and cold. We stayed 4 nights and had most of our meals at Gold Sand. Simple, homecooked-style, probably the best meals we have had in Vietnam. Their in-house driver, Minh, took us on all our trips out and back to the resort and was a joy to chat with. Son makes sure to greet and chat with every table, every meal. We thought Phu Quoc would be one-time thing (safari for the kids), but after this hospitality... we definitely wish to come back again! <3

One of the best hotels I've been to. It's so calm and comfortable, houses are clean and cosy, very spacious. Personel is very friendly and helpful. It's one of the cleanest places in Vietnam. Very nice beach. Some people write that's it's remote and maybe it is a bit but for me this was an advantage. You can always hire a motorbike and go everywhere you want.

Good location close to VinWonders theme park and Safari. Rooms were nice and quiet, lovely gardens and facilities!

Family run simple rustic resort with no frills. It is a little isolated but that's why we stayed. No pretentiousness about this simple resort which was great value for money and a chill out after our 3 weeks site seeing.

Steps from its own private beach, Ancarine Beach Resort offers rooms and bungalows with views of the sea. Its restaurant serves Vietnamese and European cuisines.
