The Highgrove Guest House is a gorgeous place to stay! Small-scale, comfortable, calm, and luxurious in the best thinkable way. Chris is the unprecedented host, like your favorite uncle! Meeting up by the airport upon arrival, serving marvelous sour-dough toast when we had arrived to the guest house, serving delicious breakfasts, cooking excellent dinner only for my wife and me, driving us to the rental car pick-up, and following up and caring over Whats App several days after we left Johannesburg.
