Downstairs@38 is perfect for couples or a single person. Has a fully equipped kitchenette, washing machine, Tv etc. Lovely big shower. Very comfortable super kingsize bed. Location is central with lots of restaurants nearby and the beach very close. Also has secure parking and even though you are stay on the hosts property you are completely separate with your own entrance.

The house was amazing, so beautifully furnished and equipped! The kitchen was lovely and filled with great breakfast options to everyone's taste. We wished we could have stayed longer just to explore all of them. Jane was also so kind to take us downtown to see some places located in not so safe area, as she wanted to make sure we're okay. Best host ever! As promised, next time we'll stay longer and visit Batman (the pinguin ❤️)

Unexpected top notch reception from the entire Sir Roy's Guest House staff. It doesn't matter who, but they were all extremely helpful especially the Managers, Lorraine and Ingrid. Theirs is a statement. They do what they love most and they do it with passion. Breakfast there is something to die for especially the omelette. In general, I highly recommend this place and would go there again.

Perfect location; neat and clean area, close to airport and also close to a shopping complex having good eateries, and away from the crowded boardwalk area. Spacious clean rooms. Good tennis court. Absolutely perfect hosts who went out of way to make us comfortable, give packed breakfast in the wee hours and got us a cab too. Highly recommended, we would indeed be staying here only, when we visit next.

We had a wonderful stay at Taunton Cottage & Mews. We slept so good in the large bed. Quite neighbourhood with locked garage for the car. And then there was Roy who welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine. The attention to detail in the appartement and his warm personality are unreal. Thank you so much for the wonderful stories, you showed us what the real South-Africa is all about. The apartment was spacious, had a gas stove, as well as an air fryer, it also had wifi and entertainment channels. I'd definitely visit again. I also got a complimentary chocolate from the lovely Andrie.
