We stayed at Sir Roys Guest House in Port Elizabeth for one night after returning from Addo and before continuing our journey, and it was a wonderful stopover. We were welcomed by the incredibly kind owner as soon as we arrived — she made us feel truly cared for. In the evening she checked if we needed anything and even gave us great recommendations for dinner, and in the morning she made sure we had everything we wanted at breakfast.
The owners also have four adorable dogs, which added a lovely, homely touch to the place.
Breakfast was very tasty and plenty to start the day. The room was clean and comfortable; it could use a bit of refreshing, but honestly the warm atmosphere of the guest house made up for everything, and we really enjoyed our stay.
A charming and welcoming place — highly recommended.

Perfect location; neat and clean area, close to airport and also close to a shopping complex having good eateries, and away from the crowded boardwalk area.
Spacious clean rooms. Good tennis court.
Absolutely perfect hosts who went out of way to make us comfortable, give packed breakfast in the wee hours and got us a cab too.
Highly recommended, we would indeed be staying here only, when we visit next.
