Family hotels and homes in La Paz

Great spot! I’ve stayed here twice while in La Paz. Perfect if you want an affordable spot with kitchen and hot shower. Located between sopocachi and the center, great location!

Perfect if you’re looking for an affordable option with your own space. Good location, about 15 minute walk from sopocachi and 20 minutes from the center.

I can only recommend kawsay apartments. The apartment is newly renovated with everything you could need, and the rooftoop terrace is also really nice. The apartment is very centrally located in La Paz so its easy to get around. The hosts were also friendly and a great help, for example we ended up arriving a day later because of sickness and our first day was refunded free of charge. In our 3 months in South America this was one of the nicest apartments we stayed in :)

A bit overcrowded, and bathrooms leave something to be desired. But functional, acceptable for the price.

Nice, family-run bed & breakfast with good facilities, like a well equiped kitchen and laundry service. The room was comfortable and the bathroom ok. Good breakfast included in the price. We could use the kitchen and refrigerator. In the neighberhood there are enough mercados or micro's/taxi's/cable car to bring you to other parts of town. The family lives in the hostal, which gives a nice atmosphere with the kids playing around.

The property had a nice family feel and a bakery which is great for cake and breakfast the young man who looks after the night shift was incredibly helpful, communicated well in English and even ordered pizza for us after a long day mountain biking the death road. The hotel is situated right next to the teleférico which is very useful and fun to travel on

Very nice and spacious room (we got upgraded to the family one). We were given a heater but it wasn't that cold at night so we didn't use it that much (still great to have though). Location is great, very central. Breakfast is very nice. They have a menu and you get to choose a few items from there (bread, jam, yoghurt, ham, dessert, fruits, tea/coffee). There is a very affordable restaurant downstairs which is very convenient for dinner.

I am a Reflexologist and I was looking for a quiet place in La Paz to relax , this small hotel was really comfortable and quiet. The rooms are clean and spacious and the view of the hills from my room was good! The staff was amazingly super helpful! Plenty of rooms for a large family gathering! Breakfast was good! Juaquin, Alicia and Oscar went out of their way to make us feel right at home! I will return with my grand children on my next trip to La Paz and I'm sure they will be as pleased as I was during my stay!

Very nice place, clean, comfortable, well equipped, child friendly, spacious, beautiful decorated and well located in the south of the city, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
