Great apartment in Liberia. We walked from the apartment into the city, took about 15 mins and was quite straightforward. The unit we stayed in did have a garage so that was perfect.

The staff could not be friendlier and are eager to make your stay pleasant. The rooms are basic but spotless and comfortable, with good A/C and hot water. Delicious breakfast included, and nice dinners available for a reasonable price. This was my second stay at Villa Hermosa, and I will definitely be back.

The hotel was modern, very clean, beautifully decorated. I loved the gift shop! So many cute items. A little expensive on some items but that is expected. Good food and service at the restaurant. Fairly well equipped gym for a hotel: lots of hand held weights, a few aerobic machines, and two pulley machines for weight training. Great shuttle service, friendly driver! I stayed only for a day to connect to a group going to another province but if I return to Costa Rica, I would stay here again and take the tours to various places. The spa prices were good and if there is a next time, I'd definitely use the spa.

Belkis was exceptionally helpful and friendly. My little room had a comfy bed and two fans, right next to a shared bathroom (one of four bathrooms). The little house is quaintly decorated and the outdoor space, dining room and kitchen are all lovely. Very relaxed place in a great location, close to the bus station and a 20 minute taxi to the airport.

This hotel and staff turned out to be perfect! Great price with breakfast included. Staff were excellent and very accommodating as we were stranded for 6 days with storm. Lovely grounds and large pool and pergola. Rooms are not fancy but clean and comfortable. They are working on refurbishment. Easy uber or walk to eateries or downtown if you prefer ride. Perfect spot to wait out storm!

The cabins themselves are just beautiful!! Very clean and very comfortable with excellent washroom and air conditioning. The woodwork is really beautiful. The staff was very helpful and fun. The locals had a terrific family day in the pool.

Lovely, family run, modest accommodation that was exactly as described and expected. Breakfast was delicious, walking distance to town, wifi was stable enough for me to do the work I needed. The best thing of all was that I felt extremely welcomed and taken care of by the hosts and staff.

Staff were super nice and friendly. The slide is so fun. Spa was incredible (go in the early timeslot and it’s so peaceful!). Gorgeous sunsets and scenery. Lots of animals. This would be a great place to take children.

The staff and family who run this joint are exceptional and beautiful human beings. They helped out in so many ways, breakfast was good, coffee was strong, fruit was sweet. Kids could play a mean game of Foosball. Only complaint is the roosters who start exactly at 0500...but perfect if you need to catch an early fligjt.
