The property had character, but was also furnished to a very high standard. We loved the themed rooms, ours was Sterling Moss and our friend’s Mid summer murders.

Beautiful rooms and amenities. Very comfortable and large bed and little touches like the sleep spray, radio and nesspresso made it feel super luxurious. Love that the rooms are themed as well, it’s very unique and fun.

The themed room we stayed in - the very comfortable four poster bed, immaculate room with well thought out furniture and decoration and complimentary tea coffee etc - everything was thought out and achieved to a high standard. Every request was happily fulfilled and the breakfast was delicious.

Outstanding location, classic music in the room during the arrival. Nice arrangement of the room. Lovely themed rooms that were clean. Highly recommended.

A very old but well maintained hotel with themed rooms. Although the hotel was old, the rooms were modern, clean and very nice. Location was great to go for a walk, and we had a lovely breakfast in a wonderful part of the hotel.

Excellent old coaching inn, nicely decorated throughout, with a large restaurant. Friendly staff and a nice selection of beers. Good full English breakfast.
The spacious themed rooms are a nice touch. Large car park. Good location in the centre of a quiet village and opposite an historic cathedral.
