We loved everything about this place. Such a cosy nice decor, spacious room, lovely staff, good facilities, peaceful location away from all the hustle. Super clean too.

Great location very close to the beach. The room was comfortable and the airconditioner worked well. The staff were quite friendly and even showed me around the neighbourhood. They left a few bottles of water too. Bed was amazing

Komangs food was amazing and definitely a highlight. While facility for ourselves. Felt like home. Help with activities and transfer.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this modern and clean villa with a great pool and outdoor area. Mr Budi welcomed us and was more than happy to help us with anything. A short walk to the beach and not far from the town. Great value and would highly recommend this villa for any families who are exploring the beautiful surrounds of Lovina. We had the upstairs accommodation and it was wonderful

When we first arrived, the entrance looked a little different from the photos online, but the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed into a beautiful home. Everything you could possibly need is there. The living room is spacious, with a lovely covered terrace and a wonderful swimming pool to relax by. The bedrooms are also large and equipped with good air conditioning — perfect after a warm day exploring. But the most special thing about Rumah Riang is without a doubt the incredible hospitality of Putu, Ria, and their family. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at home. Although there’s a well-equipped kitchen, Ria prepares the most delicious Balinese meals — both lunch and dinner. She’s a fantastic cook, and nothing is ever too much for them. Every meal was different and full of authentic local flavors and made with so much love and care. During our stay, we also joined The Mayong Cultural Walk, which is an absolute must-do! Putu takes you on a fascinating journey through the rice fields of the Mayong Valley, passionately explaining everything that grows there — not just rice, but also durian, palm trees, and the intricate irrigation systems that make Balinese agriculture so special. His deep knowledge of plants, farming, and local culture is impressive, and the way he shares it — full of humor, energy, and great storytelling — makes the walk both fun and educational. He also loves to connect local words and traditions to other languages and cultures, which we Dutch visitors found especially engaging! After the walk, we were treated to another delicious homemade lunch prepared by Ria — authentic Balinese flavors at their very best. We stayed at Rumah Riang for two nights and got a beautiful glimpse into the life of a local Balinese family — full of kindness, warmth, and hospitality. It’s an experience we will never forget.
