Fabulous location. Spa and pool facilities were excellent. I couldn’t speak more highly of the staff, they were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Top quality coffee machine in the room.

Fantastic place to stay. Received our codes for the doors before our arrival. Once inside 2 badges per room were left on window sill. With these badges we could come and go as we pleased. This saved us having to tap in the codes each time. Rooms were spotless, Because we only stayed over for one night we didn't actually see anyone as we had to leave early the next morning.

We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.

Michael was awesome ! It was easy getting settled in and he made us feel welcome ! Michael gave us some history of the town and his B&B and suggested some other places to visit in Ireland that were on our trail! What a lovely property and the breakfast was delicious!

This is our go-to place to stay in Kilkenny. We've been here twice already and will be returning again next year. The staff is amazing and very very friendly - our little daughter loved interacting with the ladies at the reception and really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt they organized for her. The location is perfect, our room was spacious and quite cozy + the building has a significant historical and architectural value. The breakfast menu was very well structured - I'd definitely recommend the eggs Benedict! All in all - we'd recommend the place to anyone who's willing to get the most of their stay in Kilkenny!
