One of the best accommodations I’ve had the chance to stay in recently – and I travel a lot. For this price range, I was genuinely impressed with everything, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The host welcomed me already on the street and found a suitable spot for my large car, even helping me park it. Then I was kindly greeted by his mother and daughter, who showed me around the house and explained all the amenities. I didn’t even know breakfast was included – they simply asked what I would like and at what time I wanted it prepared. Since I was planning to leave early, they offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast instead, which was such a nice surprise! They were even so kind as to offer help carrying my suitcase upstairs – which I politely declined, but it just shows the level of service and care they provide. After a long day of travel, all I wanted was a shower – and to my delight, the bathroom was spacious, clean, and even had a bathtub where I could properly relax. The room had working air conditioning that cooled it down instantly, plus a Smart TV with Netflix. The bed was so comfortable that I ended up sleeping longer than planned. Instead of leaving at 5 AM, I left at 7, and was welcomed downstairs by the son with a beautifully set breakfast table and my takeaway box ready. He also made me probably the best cappuccino I’ve ever had – the foam was perfect, and I immediately asked for a second one. As I was leaving, I got my takeaway breakfast, and he kindly handed me a cold bottle of water for the road. Just wow – incredible service from start to finish. Beautiful place with very nice staff

Our stay at "Borgo dei Gatti" was a truly exceptional experience in one of Italy's most beautiful villages. The warm welcome made us feel like cherished friends right from the beginning. The tranquility of the village is enchanting and the views are breathtaking. It's a serene escape, offering peace and relaxation around every corner. Our apartment was a perfect blend of comfort and style, with meticulous attention to detail. Borgo dei Gatti is a hidden gem worth discovering. You'll find warm hospitality, tranquility, delicious dining at the restaurants in the area, stunning views, and impeccable design. We'll try to come back when the new spa is finished.

Beautiful B&B in a beautiful castello. Nice rooms, good beds, beautiful views, nice swimming pool. The delicious breakfast is provided by Dita (thank you for the service Dita). You can use the kitchen and the refrigerator. In short, a nice place for a luxurious and carefree holiday. And yes, it is a bit remote, but every town has its gems and you can enjoy a nice walk at the dam nearby. And the owner also knows great restaurants. Thank you Catharina for this and also for the nice conversations. We will definitely come back.

Nice host, we were the only guests that night so we had the whole castle to ourselves. We had private breakfast and could stay by the pool the next day. Really special and romantic place, would recommend.

We had such an enjoyable stay- we were so well looked after. The location was spectacular with lovely views overlooking the Po valley. We had a delicious supper and really enjoyed the wine that was produced by the family. Thank you !
