Rita and her staff were the most welcoming and kindest people who really went above and beyond during our stay. Il Portichetto is the loveliest most peaceful place to return to after a busy day of being around the hustle and bustle of tourists. It's lovely and clean and the kids really enjoyed the pool.The breakfast was amazing and we have never had such lovely Croissants! Thankyou Rita, we hope to return again.

A lovely place to stay especially if you have a room near the pool. Excellent breakfast. Rita always fun, helpful and entertaining.Very clean and had everything we needed.Free summer night bus (21:30 to midnight) from the railway station to spare you from a stiff walk home (easy walk down, challenging walking back up in summer heat but still doable).

It was quite and situated on a small family farm yet Varenna is just down the hill from the accommodation. Very peaceful.

The location is perfect. The apartment is very cosy and clean, with large bathroom.

Serena the host and her family are very kind and willing to help in anything you need.

Amazing location with incredible views. Roberto picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Great, spacious apartment with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great to have open green space to relax and play in.

Fantastic view!!! Lovely apartment, has everything you both want and need. Traveling with kids - having Netflix was very appreciated. Owner and his family very helpful.
