Location is superb. Ryokan is nice and traditional yet very functional. Friendly staff.

Our room containing the hot tub on the balcony was amazing. The Onsen facilities are cool but be aware of gender segregation. The happy hour where the hotel provides free wine and snacks was lots of fun.

Big rooms that accommodated my family well in one single room. The view of the lake was a bonus in the sun rising and hotel facilities are great.

The lake view was great! The windows really provided a beautiful view of the entire area - it was pretty much the entire reason we decided to stay here. Room was huge! Reasonably big bathroom for Japan, ample space for luggage, TV, additional sofa, seats, everything you need is pretty much provided. We also appreciate the bath salt provided! The hotel is a little off the main road, but there is a supermarket, and a 7-11, familymart, and some restaurants a good 7 - 12mins walk away, so that's not too bad.

Very closed to Shiga train station and Lake Biwa. The bakery at train station is a must do for breakfast! Washing machine and dry function for the bathroom are bonus!
