You can tell the hotel has experienced staff and a friendly atmosphere. It’s well run and an easy experience with its shop, private beach and proximity to a major public beach. The children’s room was a particular favourite of my two year old, the most up to date room in the hotel.

Stayed twice at this little family hotel. Love the location and all the little rituals the owners have. For example, when checking out you can choose two of over 15 variants of photographs of the local nature that the owner takes himself. Since we stayed as a family, everyone got to choose two and now we have a great collection of photos of these beautiful area. The hotel is comfortable, clean and has it’s own small onsen.

The staff was very helpful and supported us phoning with the local ferry as our japanese is not that great. Also the place seems very kid friendly which is rarely seen. We felt very welcome. The owner even offered us an emergency stay as our ferry was cancelled! Would recommend this guesthouse and we will definitively come back.
