Lyn and Grace are very friendly hosts of the property. They welcomed me personally and everything is there; from coffee to a self service fridge with beers. Everything is clean, and the dorms are very spacious. The room we stayed in was very spacious and light, with quite a large terrace looking over the sea. Also the roof terrace (both indoor and outdoor) was very nice for spending a relaxing evening. The lady running the building was very hospitable, friendly and accommodating. There is no 24/7 reception but both her and the owner were very quick with their communication. All in all we had a very pleasant stay with our 2 year old.

Located at one of the rural parts of the taiwanese east rift valley you can find Jamie's Guesthouse. After being greeted be a few lizards on the outside and a curious cat on the inside, you enter the common room with a warm welcome. A mixture of quiet jazz and japanese citypop is playing while you see a big bookshelf and many small interesting items on every surface in the building. The kitchen is filled with various cooking devices and ingredients. Another hangout area is outside behind the kitchen. The sleeping room itself and the bath are clean.
