Ferienhaus Burgblick also includes a large well-groomed garden featuring a barbecue, a summer house and table tennis. The children's entertainment is ensured by the property's playground which has a swing and a trampoline. The house is located very close to Ossiach Lake and in a strategic position for visiting all of Carinthia, since it is close to Villach and within an hour's drive of most destinations. The house and kitchen were equipped with everything necessary for long stays (two hair dryers, washing machine, dryer, pots and pans, cooking utensils,...). The owner, Petra, was very kind and always willing to help. I am especially grateful to her for immediately recommending that we purchase the Kärnten Card, which provides free access to many attractions in the area. The garden is well maintained and contains various playground equipment for children, a tennis table, and a barbecue (unfortunately, with all the things we had to do, we didn't have time to use the latter, but we still enjoyed the garden and deck chairs to relax after our walks and visits during the day).

The local cheese and fresh house milk were legendary. Seriously, I could write love songs about that breakfast :D. If you're looking for a great place to stay, this is it. Can't wait to come back!

Host of this guesthouse is Sandra, who is really customer oriented, kind and helpful person, thanks for her! The location is excellent, very ideal for hiking, going to different programmes every day (Gerlitzen Alpe, Villach Alpenstrasse, Pyramidenkogel, Nockberge, etc). We had a nice view from the room to the lake and Gerlizten alpen mountains. Worth to buy the Karinthen Card (you can buy at the host), it is really great.

A children’s playground and a ski and bike storage are furthermore at guests’ disposal. The Mathiasl Wellness is situated in an excellent location with breathtaking views. The owner was incredibly welcoming and had thoughtfully placed both red and white wine on the dining table and in the fridge, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We traveled as a group of six, and everyone agreed that we would love to return. The accommodation was fully equipped with everything we needed, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The kitchen was impressively stocked, with more glasses and plates than I even have at home! We also brought our dog along, and they made him feel just as welcome.

The property is 10 km from Villach and 12 km from Lake Ossiach. Nice, cozy, new furniture, well maintained, great ski to door location. Very helpful and friendly staff, good food and nice spa. Everything is optimized for a perfect ski vacation.
